Los Angeles experimental rap trio Clipping have announced a new album: There Existed an Addiction to Blood is out October 18 via Sub Pop. Below, check out the new single “Nothing Is Safe,” and scroll down for the cover art and tracklist.

According to a press release, the album draws influence from the horrorcore subgenre, and “Nothing Is Safe” is inspired by John Carpenter’s film scores. Guests on the record include Benny the Butcher, La Chat, Ed Balloon, Pedestrian Deposit, and others.

There Existed an Addiction to Blood marks Clipping’s first full-length since 2016’s Splendor & Misery, which appeared at No. 30 on Pitchfork’s list of “The 33 Best Industrial Albums of All-Time.”
